“I believe we all carry an inner wisdom that can guide us toward living fully and freely. Yet in a culture that keeps our nervous systems on edge and constantly tells us we need to “fix” ourselves, it’s easy to lose touch with that guidance. The truth is: you are not broken, and you don’t need fixing.
My approach is warm, intuitive, and collaborative. I draw from somatic, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic frameworks, and weave in my training as a therapeutic Hatha yoga teacher to support you in reconnecting with your body and yourself.
I work especially with deep feelers, overthinkers, and those navigating grief, identity shifts, or seasons of uncertainty. If you often carry a lot for others or struggle with feeling “too much” or “not enough,” we’ll explore what’s been keeping you from feeling at home in your life, and begin creating one that aligns with who you truly are.”
Q & A
How do you describe your counseling style?
My style is warm, present, and collaborative, and I bring my whole self to our sessions. I focus on embodiment and help clients tune into their bodies and notice how emotions, tension, and stress show up physically, and learn to use those cues as a guide to understanding what they truly need in difficult moments. I draw from somatic, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic approaches, as well as EMDR and therapeutic Hatha yoga, to support clients in releasing old patterns, connecting with their inner resilience, and making choices that feel aligned with their authentic selves. Together, we’ll create practical tools to help you feel more grounded, present, and empowered in your life.
Have you been in therapy yourself?
Yes! I’ve been in therapy for many years, and it has been a really important part of my own growth and healing. In fact, my personal experience in therapy is what ultimately inspired me to change careers and become a therapist. I started with psychodynamic talk therapy and later explored somatic approaches like EMDR and IFS. Living in a world that often tells us our feelings are “too much” or that we’re not enough can make it easy to lose touch with ourselves, and therapy helped me recognize that we are already whole and capable exactly as we are, and it’s that sense of possibility I hope to bring to the people I work with.
