How do you describe your counseling style?
You are the expert of your own experience and I am here to work with you, from this perspective, to help you find the connection, strength and support you are looking for in your life. With a background and training in movement, performance and alternative education, I use somatic, psychodynamic and trauma-informed modalities to move through personal exploration and healing with curiosity and ease.
What kind of patients do you work best with?
Do you find yourself feeling stuck, unseen, or disconnected? Have these feelings intensified after 2+ years of pandemic? Are you wanting more from your relationships and your work? Do things like creativity and embodiment feel elusive and out of reach? Or are you a performer or achiever who is often put on a pedestal by those around you, idolized yet at a distance from the kind of care you actually want? In our sessions, we will explore what is going on while eliminating the stigma, judgment and shame that has prevented you from moving forward.
What books have made the biggest impact on your life?
Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, Educated by Tara Westover, My Grandmother’s Hands by Resmaa Renakem.
