“Healing is deeply relational. In connection, we’ll begin to gently explore the patterns and protective strategies that once helped you survive but may now keep you stuck. Together, we’ll untangle what no longer serves you and create space to access the quieter, wiser parts of yourself.”

Q & A

How do you describe your counseling style?

I believe healing happens in connection–to self and others. I believe change starts when we stop trying to “fix” ourselves and start getting curious. By slowing down and listen to what our bodies and emotions are actually saying, new insights appear and self-trust emerges. I show up as my full self– expect humor, honesty, the occasional metaphor, and zero judgment.

Who is your favorite TV therapist?

I have a soft spot for Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist. 90’s throwback to his calm, dry humor and ability to just sit with people as they spiral made him oddly brilliant.

More recently, Couples Therapy with Dr. Orna Guralnik is the most real I’ve seen. Her presence, thoughtfulness, and peer consults feel like the actual behind-the-scenes of therapy. She has great design taste for her office too.

What books or podcasts would you suggest to clients?

Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl is a well-worn and book I return to every year. His reminder that “between stimulus and response, there is a space” has helped me practice presence over perfectionism.

Codependent No More by Melody Beattie was a revelation for many by naming the tangled patterns of over-functioning, people-pleasing, and self-abandonment that often go unnoticed.

If you're drawn to raw, reflective, humor-infused conversations about mental health, start with comedian Neal Brennan’s Blocks.
